UCAR Lineup Adjustment

Tech Bulletin #1
UCAR Lineup Adjustment
(May 17, 2007) - Effective Immediately, in all UCAR races (heats and features), the "Freeze and Blend" rule will apply. This will replace any existing system for realigning the field following a caution. Under the "Freeze and Blend" rule, drivers are to slow down as the yellow flag (light) is displayed and to maintain their running position on the track. Scoring will revert to the running order of the last completed green flag lap. All lapped cars regardless of which class (Just 4 Funs, 4-Tracker or Pro-4 Trucks) will remain in the same running order behind the leader for the restart of the race. The field will not be adjusted to the running order of each class. This rule adjustment will allow for faster realigning of the field. Drivers should continue to follow the car that they were behind prior to the caution. Any driver that makes a pit stop (feature only) will tag the rear of the field upon their return to the track. Any driver who intentionally tries to advance their position during a caution will be placed at the rear of the field.
